Girls Camp 2012

So, on Girls Camp eve, we were at Nate and Darin's baseball games which were at 9 and 10. So, we got to bed around, what, 12? Yeah about 12:30. A.M. So, at 5:30 that morning, I was awoken by my alarm. I reluctantly got out of bed and got dressed. I was dead tired when we were setting up the tents. The theme for girls camp this year was the parable of the 10 virgins. That day, we sat in the church the whole time listening to people talk about the 8 Young Women values. Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Knowledge, Choice & Accountability, Good Works, Integrity, and Virtue. The first class we had, we got these little vessels to keep oil in. The first class we went to was Knowledge. It was OK, but Faith was really good and the Integrity classroom was so beautiful. BUT, I was so tired during the whole thing that I kind of forgot half the stuff they told us. So, that night we did this project until 10:00. After we were done we got these little clay lamps that Sis. Lundeen made us. We then went to our tents and were supposed to go to sleep. But, there were like 30 tents of girls that were all talking, so I didn't get to sleep until like 2:00 in the morning. Almost an hour later we were awoken by President Chandlier calling out:" Behold! The Bridegroom cometh! Get your oil and your lamps! Behold!" So, at 4:00 in the morning, we were walking around Hurricane in our pajamas with these glowing lamps. We went to the gym in the church to find these little tables about a foot off the ground just laden with food. There was a program of the ten virgins. Shella was in it. In the program, Shella was not prepared and she didn't have oil. I then realized the importance of being prepared. After the program we had a dawn testimony meeting. Afterwards, we packed up the tents and had breakfast. I went home and it was 9:00. I watched a movie for a while then went upstairs to take a shower. After the shower I lay down and went to sleep for 8 hours. When I woke up I got dressed and went over to Grama's house. I kept thinking it was tomorrow. That night I was not tired and I stayed up until 12:30. The next day, Emily left. We will miss her a lot. Until July that is......

This Week's Going-ons

So, this last week was a crazy one. My Auntie Em came down from Wyoming with her family so we were having parties every day of the week. Also, my sisters and her girls had farm camp with Kathie Iverson, so It was mostly me, Emily, Mama, Grama, Shella, and Isaac most of the time. Isaac, a very sweet boy, gave us all new names. His is Isaac James Lakrat, My dad's is Lyf Harry Horse, and Jack's is Jack Chuck Ravioli. I don't know why he has done this, but I think it entertains him a lot. Anyway, we had lots of fun with all the parties and Mexican night and my mom's softball game and Nate and Darin's Baseball game. And this week was Girls Camp, so we had a busy week.

In Henderson

So, we are here at Zach and Shella's house like I said we would be this week. They have a condo in Henderson and we are staying in it. I got to sleep on the couch last night. I didn't even go to sleep until 2:00 a.m. Utah time. I was playing Animal Crossing Wild World on my Nintendo D.S. Christmas 2010, Grandma Reeve gave all the cousins a D.S. except the younger ones, of course.

Mine is blue. There were only three blue ones. Mine, Jack's, and Will's. All the rest were either pink or red. I'm glad I got blue. Blue is my favorite color.....

So...

So, today was our pi day. I invited my friends to my house and we had 5 different types of pie. Chocolate cream, key lime, Oreo cream, recess cream, and cheesecake. I know that cheesecake is not pie but we still had it. Kalyann brought it. The friends that were there were: Talia, Kalyann, Tehya, and Jane. After we had pie, we went to the rope swing. After that we came back home and got more pie and told ghost stories. They were pretty scary...huh Jane? Sorry, Jane is right here next to me. We are watching Back to the Future 3. We had a marathon of Back to the Futures 1,2,&3. My cousins Logan and Jack are here. We had chicken nuggets for dinner and I had to make them all because I am baby-sitting...

Hello Again

Hello again. How are you today? I am doing good. I am having a pi party today. It is going to be really fun. I am having lots of different types of pie. Pi is a mathematical term. Pi symbolizes 3.14159265358979 and lots of different numbers after that. So, i hope you enjoy your annual pi day!...

Zach and Shella just went back to Henderson and I already miss them so much............

BUT, we are going to Henderson on Friday so I will be with them soon. While we are there, I want to learn how to take more and better pictures. Since Shella is taking a photography class, she is the perfect person to learn from. So, this post is to Zach and Shella. Miss you and see you soon...........

Pi day

Hey did you know that on Wednesday it is Pi day? Not Pie day Pi day. Like 3.14 in math. I am inviting my friends over for a pie fight and pie party. I am just bored so i told you what i'm going to do. So bye.

Cold but Warm Cruel but True

So, today we went outside and turned on the sprinklers. We all got into our swimsuits and jumped on the trampoline until I couldn't feel my legs. I got out of the trapping net around the tramp, walked over to the hose and turned it off. I went inside to get a towel and came back to find mom telling us to clean up. I used the excuse of being wet and went outside to dry off... letting Bryn do the cleaning. It actually worked... even Bryn let me do it because she didn't want me to get her stuff wet. So i was very cold, but warm, and i was cruel, but true... thus the title.
